One of the educators on staff pointed me to Jennifer Maestre’s site. She’s an artist who uses pencils to create fantastic sculptures like the one below. This is really quite fascinating, as it shows a great way to use found/recyclable objects to create artwork. It also shows quite a bit of spacial reasoning in order to actually create each one.
