Just disturbing…meet Psychrolutes marcidus – aka “The Blobfish.” Native to the deep waters off the coast of Tasmania, this fish has a face. Not a fish face, mind you, but a face that is fairly human-like. A really, really ugly human complete with a honking bulbous nose, beady black eyes, and bigger-than-Mick-Jagger slimy lips. Here’s a link to the LA Times blog post about it, but I think he’s a little too paranoid about it. Then again, that face may drive some people over the edge. Enjoy the photo…well, not really “enjoy.” More like “endure.”
