Mr. O!
Born in a log cabin on a distant planet, Mr. O (aka Keith Ostfeld) was rocketed to Earth as a child where the rays from the yellow sun gave him no superpowers, but did give him a mild sunburn. Found and raised by a pack of wolves, Mr. O eventually went to college and earned a B.S. in Biological Science with concentrations in Anatomy and Physiology and Secondary Instruction. After 7 years of teaching high school and middle school Honors/IB/AP Biology and Honors Integrated Physics and Chemistry, Mr. O decided that having a summer break every year was just too demanding of his time. He has spent the last nine years working for the Children’s Museum of Houston. Starting as the Science Educator and moving through four other positions before becoming Director of Exhibit and Program Development, he spends his time working on a variety of exhibit development, program creation/scheduling, and evaluation projects between knocking over and restacking the large quantities of vitally important papers in his office. Mr. O has developed and helped develop many exhibits and programs for CMH focused on science and mathematics while using his spare time to hone his skills at writing biographical statements.
